DO YOU OFFER GROOMING SERVICES?
At this time, I do not offer any grooming services.
DO YOU REQUIRE MY PET TO HAVE VACCINES?
Dogs: Yes, they will need to be up to date on Rabies, Parvo/ Distemper. Due to being around other dogs aside from your own, I must consider the possibility of spreading germs that are contagious to them. These vaccines help limit the possibility of transferring these potential viruses and illnesses.Cats: Yes, I require up to date Rabies and FVRCP Vaccines. FVRCP is a vaccine that protects cats from distemper, feline herpes, and calicivirus. These are all potential life threatening, and very contagious to other felines even by transfer on clothing.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RARE OR EXOTIC PETS?
Yes! I am experienced with Bearded Dragons, Rats, Parrots, Chinchillas, and Ferrets!

Meet & Greet Policy
Meet & Greet Policy for Salty Paws Mobile Pet Care
We believe in building trust and understanding before caring for your beloved pets. That’s why we offer a 30-minute Meet & Greet session for new clients.

Fee: $20 (non-refundable)

Duration: 30 minutes
During this session, we’ll:

Get to know you and your pet(s).

Discuss their specific needs, preferences, and routines.

Answer any questions you may have about our services.
Waiving the Meet & Greet
If you prefer to skip the Meet & Greet for your dog, we offer the option to waive this session. Instead, a $20 Behavior Assessment Fee will be added to your dog’s first visit.

The Behavior Assessment Fee is non-refundable and must be paid prior to service.

After the first appointment, it will be determined if our services are a good fit for your dog’s needs.

DO YOU WALK DOGS?
At this time, we do not offer dog walking services. If you do not have a fenced in area, we do however leash your pup and go around the yard. This is due to insurance requirements and reasons.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Cancellation Policy for Salty Paws Mobile Pet Care
At Salty Paws Mobile Pet Care, we understand that plans can change. Our goal is to ensure flexibility for our clients while maintaining fairness and respect for our schedule and commitments.
Cancellation Deadlines

Sleepovers: Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled service to avoid fees.

Drop-In Visits & Weekly Recurring Visits: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees.

Less than 7 days' notice: 50% of the total booking fee will be charged.

Less than 48 hours' notice: 100% of the total booking fee will be charged.

Emergencies
We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If you need to cancel due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. Exceptions to the policy may be made at our discretion.
Rescheduling
If you reschedule your booking at least 7 days in advance for sleepovers or 24 hours in advance for other services, no fees will apply.
No-Show Policy
If we arrive at your home for a scheduled service and are unable to access your pet(s) due to client oversight (e.g., locked doors, inaccessible keys), the full booking fee will be charged.

Can I have a refund?

At Salty Paws Mobile Pet Care, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional and personalized care for your pets. To ensure our schedule remains fair and accessible for all clients, we maintain a No Refund Policy for all booked services.
Policy Details

All payments for services, including sleepovers, drop-in visits, and weekly recurring visits, are non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed and payment has been processed.

If a cancellation occurs, the appropriate cancellation fee, as outlined in our cancellation policy, will be applied.
Rescheduling
While refunds are not offered, clients may reschedule services within the required notice period (7 days for sleepovers, 24 hours for other services) to avoid cancellation fees.
Emergency Considerations
We understand emergencies happen. If you need to cancel or make adjustments to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Exceptions to the no-refund policy may be granted at our discretion in extreme circumstances.
By booking with Salty Paws Mobile Pet Care, you agree to the terms of this no-refund policy. This ensures fairness for all clients and allows us to provide consistent, top-quality care to every pet.

Mileage Fee
For clients residing outside of our free mileage area, a mileage fee of .65 per mile will be charged after the first 10 miles. This fee ensures that our services remain accessible to everyone, while also covering the additional costs of travel. Thank you for your understanding.
Holiday Fees
Pet Services provided on Holidays & Peak Season dates will have an additional upcharge.
New Years Eve: $10 additional (per visit)
Labor Day Weekend: $10 additional (per visit)
Memorial Day Weekend: $10 additional (per visit)
4th of July & 4th Of July Weekend: $15 additional (per visit)
Thanksgiving: $15 additional (per visit)
Christmas Eve: $15 additional (per visit)
Christmas Day: $20 additional (per visit)
Do you have an app?
We use a designated app to communicate with our clients, as well as to have important information easily accessible for your pet(s). We require every client to activate and use the app to request appointments, cancel appointments, and see any important notes regarding their pet after an appointment. Each client also much sign all designated forms and submit proper vaccination records to use services. We require a yearly exam to be on file each year unless otherwise discussed.
